What You’ll Do
Provide 1:1 therapy using strength-based, play-focused ABA strategies
Support clients across home, clinic, school, and community settings
Follow individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
Use compassionate behavior support strategies
Accurately collect and document session data
Build strong relationships with families and team members

Genuine interest and passion for helping children thrive
High school diploma required (Bachelor’s in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
RBT certification or willingness to complete within 60 days (we’ll help!)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
Physical ability to play on the floor, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication, professionalism, and follow-through
No ABA experience required, just heart and curiosity

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Summary
The Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing clinical oversight, behavior analytic assessment, treatment planning, and supervision for clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This position ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards, Michigan state regulations, and company policies.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Clinical Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), skills assessments, and other relevant evaluations.
Develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans.
Design and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Analyze client data and adjust programming as needed.
Provide supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or behavior technicians in accordance with BACB supervision requirements.
Conduct parent/caregiver training and provide ongoing support.
Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with BACB, funding source, and Michigan Medicaid/insurance requirements.
Ensure treatment fidelity and quality of care.
Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities
Complete assessment reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and re-authorizations in a timely manner.
Participate in team meetings and case reviews.
Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with payer guidelines and company standards.
Attend required staff meetings and training.
This part-time BCBA position includes an expected average of 15 billable hours per week. Approximately 20% of scheduled work time is allocated for administrative responsibilities, including documentation, program development, data review, and team collaboration. Hours may vary slightly based on client needs and service authorizations.
Qualifications
Required:
Active and in good standing certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the BACB.
Current Michigan state licensure (LBA – Licensed Behavior Analyst) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Reliable transportation (if in-home/community-based services are provided).
Preferred:
Experience supervising RBTs.
Experience with insurance-funded services in Michigan.
Experience providing parent guidance.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit on the floor and move quickly to respond to client needs.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
Ability to work in clinic, home, or community settings.
Work Schedule
Flexible part-time schedule based on client needs.
Some evening hours may be required.
Schedule to be determined collaboratively.
